Casco Art Institute

Casco is an art institute that aims to cultivate and support the ‘commons’ through art. Commons are collectively created or existing sources – either from nature or culture – that are sustained in communities. Art, as a surprising way to inquire into the world around us, provides the lens to view the Commons, that are often vulnerable through exploitation and enclosed by privatisation.
